Who can make an appointment? 

As osteopaths are classed as primary health care practitioners, you do not need a referral to see us - anyone may book an appointment.

However, there are a variety of reasons why you may have a referral to see us. If your appointments are covered under DVA, MVA insurance, EPC/CDM, WORKCOVER or any other form of cover aside from health care, it is likely that you will require a doctor's referral. We ask that you bring this referral with you to your appointment, as well as any scans or results that you feel may be relevant for your practitioner.

Initial consultation
Time: 1 hour
Cost: $190

An initial consultation is the first step to the improvement of your health, allowing your practitioner to gain a full understanding of your general well being and health history and determine an appropriate treatment plan to address your issues. We ask that you arrive at the clinic 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time, to fill out a medical history form. During the first 30 minutes of your appointment your practitioner will discuss your health history and current issues, and likely ask you to perform some simple movements to determine severity and location of the issue. 

Following this, your practitioner will provide osteopathic treatment. You will be asked to change down to your underwear while your practitioner leaves the treatment room (towels are provided for cover).  If you do not feel comfortable with this, ensure you wear exercise pants/top, A bra with the clip a the back is preferable as this allows for the use on massage oil during treatment. We use almond oil but have alternative oil if required due to allergies.

Follow up appointment
Time: 30 minutes
Cost: $125

This appointment involves 30 minutes of osteopathic treatment, following an initial consultation. You do not need to arrive early for this appointment. 

Payment
All payments must be made on the day of your appointment. We offer HICAPS, and ask that if you have private health care you bring you health fund card with you. Gap payments may be made with Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS or cash.
